Jakarta - Mass production of the legendary Yamaha RX King motorcycle finally stoppedgoing to Yamaha this year.
As a farewell, Yamaha RX King will issue a limited edition by the end of this year. Thislatest edition of the RX King marking 30 years of gait Yamaha RX King in Indonesia.
This was said by the Vice President of PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI)Dyonisius Beti on the sidelines of the signing of the declaration Safety Riding with Slankin Yamaha factory in Pulogadung area on Monday (3/23/2009).
"Its production was stopped late this year, so the RX King is the last version," he said.
He stressed though mass production is over, it does not mean deadly Yamaha RX Kingmotorcycle.
Making the king of these streets can be made to order alias by order after the mass production end of this year. He pointed out that police ordered 300 units of the RX King.
Total sales of the RX King in Indonesia until February 2009 this has reached 1 millionunits.
During 2008, the RX King sold sold over 12,017 units while in 2009 the first 2 monthsalready sold 3992 units.
